![]() I'm just identifying for folks that, from my experience, the IceCream reader library is NOT a 1-for-1 copy or move of an original epub or mobi ( or PDF ), so don't delete your original ebook files thinking that your IceCream library is safe-storage equivalent, it is not.Īnd I'm letting folks know that, for me, the files hang around after "emptying" the IceCream library so ( a ) they will fill your hard drive without you knowing it, and ( b ) they will bear testimony to everything you have read through IceCream reader, so beware of unintended histories hanging around, Ollie North. which, for me, contains HTML multifile copies of my ebooks, the originals still exist elsewhere ( thankfully ), and the copies made by IceCream Reader stay even after clicking "empty library". I find no correlation between my experience of IceCream Ebook Reader and the reports from other posters here responding on GOTD. It was unable to zoom a PDF, leaving the full page too small to read the text ![]() and incidentally leaving their own converted HTML file copies forever on my hard drive even if I click to "empty" my IceCream "library", the HTML file copy is still there.Īnd ANY web browser seems better at displaying the resulting HTML conversions than IceCream reader is - IceCream reader shows overlapping text, Google Chrome displayed the same converted HTML file just fine, and I could make the window any size, unlike IceCream reader's 2 window sizes only - full screen or their own predetermined size. leaving my epubs wherever I had pointed to them, making it's own HTML copies of my epubs, ![]() In my installation, it appears to be an epub-to-HTML converter, For me, I found that IceCream Reader is NOT an ebook reader nor library organizer per se. ![]()
